Role Summary: Lead and manage conservation and education initiatives at Chumbe Island’s Marine Protected Area. Oversee ranger activities, education programs, research, and stakeholder communication.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in marine science, conservation, or related field (or Bachelor’s with 8+ years’ experience)
- 5+ years in marine/terrestrial conservation
- 2+ years managing conservation teams and logistics
- Experience in education programs and hospitality
- Strong swimmer/snorkeler (diving desirable)
- Proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in report writing and computer use
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Salary: Approx. $1,000 USD/month
