This year, Coral Guardian is launching a call for proposals for projects that want to join the Blue Center program. The Blue Center program, created by Coral Guardian, provides training and support for local structures to develop their own coral conservation projects involving local communities. The call is open to locally registered non-profit organizations focusing on coral ecosystem conservation, outreach/raising awareness, or scientific research. The geographic targets include overseas France, East Africa/West Indian Ocean, Caribbean, and Pacific Ocean. The call for proposals is open from 17th April 2023 until 18th June 2023 (23h59 CET), and applications in English or French are accepted. The project must address an environmental issue concerning coral ecosystems and involve local communities in all stages of the project’s development. Coral Guardian offers long-term or short-term support, depending on the needs of the local structure. We encourage project leaders to submit their coral conservation projects and join the Blue Center program.
