Expression of Interest for Level 1 WIO-COMPAS Recertification
WIO-COMPAS is pleased to announce that the process of renewing certification for Level 1 MPA PROs is now open. According to WIO-COMPAS Policies and Procedures, successfully accredited MPA professionals (MPA PROs) must renew their certification every five years. By renewing their certification, the individual earns the right to continue using the WIO-COMPAS MPA PRO title, logos and website resources. This identifies the individual as a professional who has stayed current in the knowledge, skills, and practice required of an effective MPA professional.
Recertification process and eligibility
Recertification assessment will be conducted online. All candidates will be required to submit an application form including completion of a self- assessment competence spreadsheet , producing an impact report and a letter of support. Candidates will also be required to attend an online interview with the WIO-COMPAS assessors. All Level 1 MPA PROs who were certified between the years 2010 and 2017 and who would like to renew their certification are requested to send an “Expression of interest to undergo recertification assessment” email to secretary@wiomsa.org, copied to lilian@wiomsa.org. The deadline for sending the expression of interest is 31st December 2022.
