The Hifadhi Blu (Conserving Blue) Programme is an ambitious initiative transforming the management of Marine Conserved Areas (MPAs, CMAs, LMMAs and OECMs) across the Western Indian Ocean (WIO). By strengthening technical and financial support for conservation sites, building the capacity of local practitioners, and fostering regional collaboration across the marine conservation network, the program amplifies the impact of conservation efforts to secure a sustainable future for our oceans.
