\nThe project\u00a0\u201cSupporting the global implementation of international marine\/maritime spatial planning guidelines\u201d<\/i><\/em>\u00a0(MSPglobal 2.0) will contribute to the target 14.2 of the SDG14, i.e., sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems, particularly through Marine Spatial Planning.<\/p>\n

MSPglobal 2.0<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0is designed to implement some of the actions of the\u00a0Updated Joint Roadmap to accelerate Marine\/Maritime Spatial Planning processes worldwide MSProadmap (2022-2027)<\/u><\/a>.\u00a0At global level,\u00a0tools<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0complementary to the MSPglobal Guide will be co-developed and new\u00a0capacity development and awareness\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>opportunities will be created. At regional level, the project will focus on transboundary pilots in the\u00a0Gulf of Guinea<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Western Pacific<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0regions to provide support towards institutionally strengthened MSP processes.<\/p>\n
