Natural Threats and Impact on Communities: Study Case of the Recently Known Mangrove Dieback in Maputo River, Mozambique

The grant opened a space for a new area of studies in Mozambique, assessing the causes of sudden death of mangroves, looking at its causes and impacts for the ecosystem and the community. After this pioneer study, similar approach is been replicated in the surrounding areas in Maputo Bay where this sudden death of mangroves was also experienced.
This grant was very helpful for me in particular has it was used as part of my PhD studies.
