Testimonies/stories

The grant has allowed me an opportunity to be a student researcher in Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute. Over the last year, I have had the opportunity to learn extensively from my phycology project as well as from the work conducted by other researchers.
I have gained a keen interest in environmental marine science, especially with regard to pollution in the Indian Ocean. Moreover, I have gained more knowledge regarding both freshwater and marine aquaculture.
I am more excited than ever about the prospects of oceanic science, and I believe the completion of the research project will lead to the pursuit of a long-life career in marine science.
