Impacts of Payment for Ecosystem Services (Plan Vivo) project on the local management of mangrove forest. Case of the community-based mangrove Carbon Project in the Bay of Assassins, Southwest of Madagascar.

Publication of the research supported by the MARGI spread the knowledge of the community-based mangrove management of the Bay of Assassins developped under the PES schme. Research undertaken under this grant led me to be part of the Indian Ocean Rim Association and collaborate closely with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) in terms of research related to Blue Carbon ecosystems
